Parametric Papers Objects

This workshop focused on the development of generative design tools inspired by parametric architecture and product design techniques. The three dimensional modular pieces were fabricated in real life with laser cutters and then folded and sticked by hand.

Individuals curious about geometric patterns, packaging, architecture, product design, scenography or 3D mapping gathered for this workshop. Divided in two parts, the hosts first addressed the mastering of the digital sphere implementing parametric design techniques in ‘vvvv’. In the second part participants laid their hands on paper and a cutting plotter to manufacture small cardboard sculptures.
