Jugend hackt Frankfurt am Main launched!

Improving the World with Code.

The first hackathon for young coders (12-18y) in Frankfurt (Main) will take place during NODE17. As the motto of Jugend hackt is “Improving the World with Code” it totally fits the program of this year’s NODE under the headline of ‘Designing Hope’.

To turn Jugend hackt Frankfurt (Main) into a success story, we need YOUR support as mentor!

During Jugend hackt, the participants will be accompanied and supported by tech-savvy and open-minded mentors. These help out in the realization of projects, troubleshooting and technical questions of any kind.

Jugend hackt Frankfurt am Main will take place during the weekend from June 30th – July 2nd. If you are enthusiastic about technology and volunteering for a good cause and free to support us in this adventure, please sign up as mentor here: https://jugendhackt.org/mentorin-werden/.

What you should bring to the table:

Anyone above the age of 19  who is open for or experienced in the exchange with a younger audience in the age span between 12 and 18 can be a mentor. Additionally, you should be able to speak a certain level of German as most of the participants will be from the local communities and their English might not yet be fluent.
