Patrick is a researcher, artist, music facilitator, working on scientific and artistic research projects focussing on the evolution of House and Techno in Germany, as well as on obsolete media technologies and photography. He currently has a teaching assignment at the University of Art and Design Offenbach and is working at the Institut für Klangforschung and the independent art space saasfee*pavillon.

Having graduated in Visual Communications with majors in Experimental Spatial Concepts and Photography, but originating from an electronic music background as a dj and producer, he is regularly working on concepts for and realizing events such as ROTOR and Robert Johnson Theorie in cooperation with the University of Art and Design Offenbach, the Institut für Klangforschung and partnering institutions. Patrick’s thesis «HOUSE NATION BRD – Regionale Netzwerke in House und Techno von den Anfängen in den 1980ern bis zur Definition eines städtetypischen Sounds in den 1990ern» has been featured at Robert Johnson Theorie and the B3 Biennale.

Patrick has been part of the team creating the first edition of NODE Forum for Digital Arts in 2008.
