Speaker
Martin Dörr (1990, Pirmasens) is an artist and system/game designer based in Berlin. His practice explores collective structures, systemic behaviors, and structural couplings—often through simulations, performative systems, and collaborations with non-human and technical agents.
He holds a Diploma in Fine Arts from the University of Art and Design (HfG) Offenbach and an M.A. in System/Game Design from the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) Berlin. In 2018/19, he studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China, supported by a DDA scholarship. His artistic work has been exhibited internationally; both his practical and theoretical research has been supported, e.g., by the Deutschlandstipendium, the Marielies-Schleicher Award, and Stiftung Kunstfonds.
Since 2015, Dörr has been a member of Blockadia*Tiefsee, an interdisciplinary collective that investigates technological and ecological transformations through artistic research and participatory formats.
