Would you like to try out exciting technology, get creative and meet new people? Are you interested in being part of a coding and tech-interested community? Join us for the Open Hackday at our new space on November 15 in Frankfurt!

Let’s hang out!

At the Digitale Welten Open Hackday, you can use soldering irons and electronics to build your own glowing figures. With 3D printing, you can create a version to display on your shelf and with the embroidery machine you can stitch your own designs onto tote bags and clothing.

Or do something completely different! There’s plenty of inspiration everywhere, with artworks by young artists who took part in the Digitale Welten Festival on display.

For creative minds, makers, tech fans and the curious: young, old and everyone in between.

 

 

 

Who, when, where?

People of all ages are welcome! The activities are designed for everyone aged 8 and up.

What is display?

The Digitale Welten Open Hackday takes place during the Soft Opening Week of display: the new space for digital practice in the heart of Frankfurt. As an open showcase, experimental lab, educational space and community hub, display fosters creative, critical and practical engagement with technology.

display connects and shares methods, knowledge, digital tools and projects as well as people and organizations from the digital civil society. All working toward a digital transformation that serves the common good in both society and the city.

display is a cooperative project by the non-profit NODE Verein zur Förderung Digitaler Kultur e.V. and Stabsstelle Digitalisierung der Stadt Frankfurt am Main.
