Alles Echt – Dokumentarische Formate drehen
part of the new training program series DW Play Test
We encounter documentary formats every day. Alongside classic documentary films and television documentaries, YouTube videos and social media channels also make use of documentary storytelling techniques.
In the workshop “All Real – Filming Documentary Formats” Nathalie Emmer Menzel from Medienbildungszentrum Süd will share the technical, creative, and legal fundamentals of video production. The workshop involves participants working together to produce a documentary piece on a topic of their choice.
The event is aimed at artists, educators, and other interested individuals. The learnt methods and techniques can be applied in your own educational or artistic practice.
This event will be held in German.
It is organized in cooperation with the Medienbildungszentrum Süd.
Registration
Registration is open until 21.09.2026, at medienbildungszentrum.sued@medienanstalt-hessen.de.
Of course, a certificate of participation can be issued for this training course.
