Workshop: Getting started with Generative Design Algorithms
This workshop is for creative coders, students, media artists and designers, who are interested in using computational techniques in their own practice.
Compose your own generative graphics without writing a single line of code and let your computer do what it is good at: randomness and repetition. After you set up your data flow program with the visual programming environment vvvv (gamma), lean back and see how your visuals grow in real time. Export these 2D or 3D interactive generative graphics as movies or animated vector files.
We will be using vvvv (version gamma) for the workshop as it offers an inuitive visual approach to handle algorithms without the need of writing any code.
What the vvvv?
vvvv is a visual programming environment that allows you to realize ideas quickly without the need to write any code. But if you want, you can also write C# code for it and use any .NET library with it! To give you an idea of the areas vvvv can be helpful in, here is a list of buzz words vvvv is often associated with:

The workshops goes from 09:30 am to 5pm, with a 1 hour lunch break.
For each of the workshops we take a maximum of 10 participants.
The workshop takes place if we have 5 or more participants.
The workshop languages is english.
