Carolien Teunisse is an Utrecht based artist who aims to discover interesting dialogues that occur between different types of media, merging realities and between humans and technology. She uses code, projections and sensing devices to (co)create installations and immersive experiences.

She is a member of DEFRAME, a collective of visual artists whose focus lies on audiovisual installations and live visual performances.

She is a co-founder of FIBER, a Dutch interdisciplinary organisation which presents new developments in audiovisual art, digital culture and electronic music.

Also she co-organizes Creative Coding Utrecht, a meetup that aims to open up the field of creative code and artistic technologies.
