Johanna Disselhoff
Speaker
Dr. Johanna Disselhoff is a psychologist working with digital media- and organisational psychology. During her studies she became interested in the relationship between media and psychology and the idea that media cannot only influence people (like in advertising or data
selection), but it can also be used to enhance learning and training. In her dissertation she showed, that virtual training can improve police operations in reality. Fascinated by the cooperation with the Police, she began to work as a prison psychologist in 2012. Confronted with desperate clients and hopeless situations, she started to work with methods from positive psychology to improve their state and help them find their own way.Since 2016 Dr. Johanna Disselhoff works as a freelance consultant and uses her expertise to improve training and learning in digital contexts as well as to provide psychological advice to clients.
