Katharina is an urban researcher, project manager and self-employed cultural producer based in Hamburg.
She studied Social Work, Metropolitan Culture and Urban Studies in Berlin, Hamburg and London. She is interested in the relationship between food and the city and the specific urbanities that food produces, alternative consumption practices, everyday culture and DIY. As an organizer in the collective of the open bicycle workshop The#Brake in Hamburg’s Gängeviertel she is concerned with opening up spaces, providing access to tools and knowledge, imparting and sharing skills. Together with XYZ Cargo she also works on the conception and implementation of alternative mobility concepts and open-source cargo bikes.
Katharina is involved with NODE as a producer since 2017.
