LAb[au]’s work employs different themes, including color, light, form and movement, and is characterized by concepts, processes and systems. Their experimental and innovative practice researches the notion of contemporaneity in art, through the use of new materials and methods. LAb[au]’s work has recently been represented at the Patinoire Royale in Brussels (Langage codé, solo exhibition, September – October 2016), the MOMA in New York (group exhibition, Artist / Novelist, January – March 2014), the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montreal (group exhibition, Physicality, May 2014) and the Venice Biennale (Noise, group exhibition, May – November 2013).
