Onur Olgaç is based in Linz currently pursuing his MA degree in Interface Culture, at the Kunstuniversität Linz. Interested in computer graphics and interactive media as an undergraduate, he pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Sabanci University, Istanbul while taking part in many courses from the Visual Communication Design Department.

He worked as a teaching assistant for the introductory course on object oriented programming during his senior year, and later as a voluntary assistant for the programming course at Interface Culture; helping fellow artists and designers learn the basics of Processing, a creative coding framework focused on visual arts and sketch based thinking.

His current focus is on human perception and decision making processes in interaction design and user experience design. He tries to analyze, observe and incorporate game mechanics and concepts from game culture into interaction design and interactive installations.
