Otto Krause and Milan Loviška explore together the potential of diverse performative formats and technologies to question established modes of perception and to inspire uncanny perspectives on intersocial relations of audience and performer, while devising physically intensive, atmospheric and imaginative works, that conceptually bridge various fields of arts, science and pop culture. They live and work in Vienna and tour around Europe and Asia.
The highlight of their collaborative practice is the mixed reality performance and arts-based research Third Life Project (premiere @ WUK Vienna 2015) that has been since 2014 maintained in a networked international collaboration with technologists from Germany, Norway and South Africa. Among their other projects are (premieres) – Puzzled.Processed.Meshed. (@Betwixt Festival, ArtScience Museum/Singapore 2016); Behaviours That Puzzle (@ Kunstraum NÖ/Vienna 2015); Esctopia (@ WUK/Vienna 2014); enclosed pleasure (@ University of Applied Arts/ Vienna 2013); After This, Therefore Because of This (in co-creation with Sebastijan Geč, @ Tanzquartier/Vienna 2013); puppy has to suffer (@ University of Applied Arts/ Vienna 2012); EchoodH (@ Trafo Gallery/Prague 2011).
