Immersive 3d audio basics
The workshop covered a general introduction to the world and possibilities of wave field synthesis and ended with hands-on exploration for creating and emitting sound as autonomous objects, which then can be moved freely in space.
What did attendees of the workshop learn?
In this first session of our two-part immersivvvve audio workshop attendees learned about the hardware and software setup, different formats and standards, and how to use it for sound applications and how to think audio object based. After a technical introduction and some listening examples, we started with hands-on and explored sound in space.
