Building upon the basics of graphics rendering this workshop gave a detailed technical overview on the multifaceted aspects of textual software code for shaders which are performed directly on the graphics card.

For us back in the days, it was really hard to understand textual code and concepts. So in the first place we wanted to help you not to be afraid of the code, and give you tools and understanding of it to make you write and experiment with your own shaders easily.
