NODE_WISP at Yachtclub

The NODE17 programme found its well deserved end with a celebration at Yachtklub, right by the river bank. From ambient, kraut-electronic to electronic sounds together with our friends from Wisp Leipzig:

The night started with TIBSLC aka ‘The Italian Billionaires Secret Love Child’ from Berlin with fine ambient sounds and Queen of Pack, a 3-piece kraut-electronic formation from Leipzig, improvising music live and delivering energetic moments for the crowd. The rest of the night we moved our feet to T-Data`s and Psch`s favorite electronic selection.

Paul Schengber, based in Leipzig, is one of the founders of ‘Wisp Kollektiv’ and ‘Wisp Festival for Arts, Technology & Communication’, promoting the exchange of ideas on socially, politically and scientifically relevant questions. His works mainly try to create ‘resonant’ moments with someone or something with the use of immersive environments.

TIBSLC considers sound as an aesthetic experience which is there to be shaped.

It was developed in many live performances and sound pieces over the course eight years.
It is based on the understanding of sound as pure material, which is not bounded to any classifications or categories.

The work with analog synthesis and spatial arrangements with Wave Field Synthesis and 3D Sound  are the focus right know, but technical solutions are solely understood as tools for whatever might be considered worthy enough to be created.
