NODE+CODE #12 – Prompt Battle Meetup edition
Do you have what it takes to become a Prompt Designer?
Our first meetup this season was a total success with exciting projects, deep discussions, and warm soup—and we’re not stopping! On the 7th of December, we meet again for a real Xmas edition of our meetup: the Prompt Battle with Ella Zickerick and Lina Schwarzenberg. The following day, they will run a first step AI workshop for artists, designers and interested people. Come over to test your skills, meet new interesting people, and become a part of the community!
What is a Prompt Battle?
Based on the Rap Battle format, Prompt Battle is a game show in which people compete against each other with the performative use of language. AI-supported text-to-image software enables the candidates to generate complex photos, images, and illustrations, seemingly out of thin air, by typing in image descriptions, so-called prompts. The audience will decide who will elicit the most surprising, disturbing or beautiful images from the latent space, and who will walk away carrying the prestigious title Prompt Battle Winner.
The original Prompt Battle was developed at HTW Dresden by Sebastian Schmieg, Florian A. Schmidt, Bernadette Geiger, Robert Hellwig, Emily Krause, Levi Stein, Lina Schwarzenberg and Ella Zickerick.
And what else will happen?
The prompt battle will be turning our second meetup this year into a fun and challenging x-mas party.
We will take time to get to know each other and, of course, we will again serve drinks and a warm and yummy soup for free!
Just come by or RSVP (for better planning) here!
Also: In the meantime, members of AI Frankfurt Rhein-Main e.V. will be there and be ready to mingle!
Want to learn more about AI?
Join the workshop on December 8th! Ella Zickerick and Lina Schwarzenberg invite you to get started with AI – for artists, designers and everyone interested.
Together, we want to explore the potential and challenges of AI, discuss them, and shape them. We will try out various technologies and attempt to engage in a dialogue with our computers, dreaming together with the machines.
