Jobs: Support for our Youth Hackathon

Join our team for Jugend hackt Frankfurt 2024!

We are looking for helping hands and a night watch for our youth hackathon Jugend hackt in Frankfurt!

→ What are your tasks?

Position filled! As helping hands, you pick up various tasks on the run: Shopping for groceries, buying some more batteries, cooking or handing out food. If somewhere somehow there is one more person needed, you’re there to help. You will be briefed by the team one week beforehand and help with the preparations for the event.
Your work period will be during the event and the week before. → May 13 to 20

As a night watch, you are present (and awake) at the hostel, where the participants will be staying. If someone wakes up in the middle of the night and needs help with something or has a question, you are there to assist. You can study, watch movies, read or do whatever you like during the nights just be available.
Your work period will be during the two nights of the event. → May 18 & 19

→ What should you bring?

  • Commitment to teamwork and engagement
  • The ability to work independently and conscientiously
  • Enjoyment of and ideally initial experience in working with young people
  • For helping hands a driving license and car are an advantage, but not a must
  • We need a current extended police clearance certificate (“erweitertes Führungszeugnis”) from you. You will receive a document from us for the application so that you don’t have to pay anything. More info here.

→ What can you expect?

Sounds good? Great! Send us an email in German or English with the position you want to apply for, a few sentences about your motivation and info about yourself until May 5, 2024.
